OMG just fucking look at Blixa!!!!!

Letztes Biest (am Himmel) - The Last Beast (in the Sky).  Venue: Berlin Metropol, January 1985.  Supposedly, Sogo Ishii visits the band during soundcheck and talks about making the Halber Mensch film.  Maybe that was a contributing factor to Blixa’s impassioned performance. Either way, stunning.  I love this rough version of Letztes Biest.  I wish someone would translate these lyrics because they are different that what were recorded.  I think Selysia told me once but .. I have memory problems.

Okay, here we go: The part that’s different from the original goes

“Ich bin das letzte Biest am Himmel in einer sterbensklaren Nacht. Ich freu mich sehr, dich heut nacht wiederzusehen.”

“I’m the last beast in the sky in a (“sterbensklar” is a made-up word and might be translated “so clear it’s to die for”) night, I’m very happy to see you again tonight.”

The rest is the same as the original, except for once, when it goes “ich bin die letzte Bestie die noch lebt” = “I’m the last beast that’s still alive”.
